The Healthy Eating Program provides healthy and fresh afterschool snacks for the elementary school students attending the after school program at the Winter Haven PEP Community Center. Snacks range from smoothies made by the kids to black bean salad and quinoa chips. All of the children we serve attend Title-1 schools and many live below the poverty line. The snacks provide nutrients that are essential for learning and growing.

The fundraising event will help ensure the continuation of the sucessful program. Food is included with the ticket purchase aswell as complimentary beer and wine will be available. All of the food served will be snacks previously served after school at the Community Center. There will be live music and a silent auction including a lunch with Sheriff Grady Judd and donations from 2infinity and Andy Thornal. Outback Oasis is a beautiful venue with lots of space to explore even including live residential kangaroos, Auzzie and Joey. The event is being hosted by Phoebe O’Neill and Audrey Nettlow.
